I added a file to Confluence and saw the Edit with feature. It prompted me to download the Atlassian Companion which I did.
However, when I now select Edit with Excel, Excel opens but gives me the security error that says it cannot open the file because the extension is not valid or my file is corrupt. I uploaded a new version of the file and got the same error.
Looking for advice on how to solve.
