Why does preview show the same picture though there are different versions?

I have a picture attached to a confluence page.  The picture has also several versions.

When I switch into preview of the picture, the current (youngest) version is shown.

But after switching to another version, preview shows still the youngest version of the picture.

Please note, downloading the file and opening it locale shows the correct content of the picture.

Additionaly, the mentioned behavior does not apply on versions of pdf-files.

I tested with firefox 67.0 and google chrome version 74.0.3729.169 on Confluence 6.15.1.

I did it inside the preview, but it does not matter. Clicking the different versions at the attachments page leads to the same wrong information.

Do you change the picture preview version inside the preview or by looking at the attachments overview?
