I have admin access rights in confluence, but I do not find the invite/add/ delete users option in confluence. Could you please advice.
I suspect you have a Confluence that is set up to use an external directory for the users, and that directory is read-only. Check under Admin -> User directories

No, as an admin, you can check that yourself. I mean go to the admin section and check under user directories.
Also whenever I login confluence automatically my ID gets recreated. So the admin can see 2 id's in my name.
