Download all comments for a list of Issues

Question

Hi , for record keeping purposes, We need to download details of our issues especially Comments. Is there a easy way to download all comments related to issues? We normally have more than 1 comments on a particular issue.

I try to add it as a column on the issue search view but that doesn't work. Any suggestions ?

What Alexey suggested is a good way to do it.

Alternatively, if you want a more professional look and a more common format like native Excel or PDF, you can give an app, like Better Excel Exporter a try, which can export all issue fields, including comments or change history and other metadata. See this example:

You can also do that for PDF.

Hello,

You can go to the Issue Navigator. Find your issue with a JQL like this:

key = youissuekey

and export the result to a csv file (all fields). You will  see comments there.
