How can I implement add/ average/percentage change on jira issues in confluence?

Question

We use Jira as a ticketing system which has numerous open, closed, pending issues under different components and labels. So i use confluence fo reporting those numbers. I use the “jira issue/filter” to pull out total number of issues and display it as Count. I need help in how to take the total or average or percentage change for them? As the pivot table or any sum operation is not counting the number of issues as it is not considering the value inside the filter as numerical.
Is there any way how i can do this?

Did you try to set "Operation type" to "Sum" and "Calculated column" to the column with Jira Issues count?

So i have tried using the pivot tables but they simply count the each row item as “1“, because each section of the columns is returning Jira issues count. Which is not a numerical value so its not adding the number of issues it displays within it.

I suppose Table Filter and Charts app should help you with this: it has

* Pivot Table macro for different aggreagations like count, sum, average and so on.
* Table Transformer macro for performing various calculations and table transformations.

There is a video tutorial describing how to create different reports based on Jira Issues macro.
