Applying different color for "Menu Item Highlight Background Color"

Hi Guys,

I've run into the following issue trying to setup custom coloring of a JIRA instance.

I'm using JIRA 7.3.0 with Service Desk 3.3.0

So, applying some changes to the custom colors in System => Look & Feel, I found that I'm not able to apply different menu background color. All other colors applied works fine except for the menu selection background color:

I would need the "View System Dashboard" background color same as the one for the main menu "Dashboard".

What I have setup is:

Still, background color remains the default blue. Any idea how to change that?

No, no workaround found. I've voted for this being fixed. So, waiting for prompt resolution by Atlassian.
