Hide Custom Field in Jira from Customers

Hi,

We need to have a new drop-down custom field on Jira tickets which should only be viisible to Internal users.

It should be available to edit, view and workflow transition screen. But should be hidden from the Customers.

Is it possible to hide a custom field in Jira from a certain group of user on edit, view and transition screen? 

Can it be done using the 'Behaviors' feature of ScripRunner?

This can't be done out of the box. Scriptrunner behaviours can do it to a certain point. You can't use behaviours on 'View' screen. On all other screens you can hide this field conditionally using behaviours.
