Integrate Gitea in Jira Software (server)

Question

We have a self-hosted Jira Software (server) environment.
Currently we are looking into possible contenders for a Git environment.
Gitea is looks promising, but I wonder how well it can be integrated with Jira Software.

In the past I've used the Atlassian Cloud with BitBucket and Jira Software, and this integration was really nice.
In Jira you would see a list of branches and pull requests mentioning the issue, under the "Development" header.

Currently we use Crucible, which has a similar integration, since it shows the reviews underneath the "Development" header too.

Can a similar integration be achieved for Gitea?

Since there isn't an official Jira API integration available for GitHub Actions, and considering that Jira offers both Cloud and Data Center versions with different API implementations, this project will initially focus on the Data Center API version. This will help those with the enterprise version automatically integrate Jira Issue status updates through CI/CD.

I actually want to use the review tools available in Gitea instead of Fisheye or Crucible.

I'll have a look at the plugin you mentioned. I see it also supports GitLab (which is one of the other contenders we're looking at). However, I thought that could be integrated with the DVCS plugin.

As far as I know there is not direct integration between Gitea and Jira, you could use Fisheye as the integration point since it can scan git repositories. Or you could take a look at Git Integration for Jira, based on the description you should be able to use it. Your other option would be to use the Jira API and create your own integration.
