I am not able to login in Jira and getting below error. Could you please resolve this asap.

Database: JIRA couldn't connect to your database

JIRA failed to establish a connection to your database.
This could be because:

 

• Your database isn't running

• The configuration of your dbconfig.xml file is incorrect (user, password, or database URL etc.)

• There is a network issue between JIRA and your database (e.g. firewall, database doesn't allow remote access etc.)

There are several other solutions you can try, review our documentation and see what works for you.

did you check the mentioned points

Does your database run (what database are you using, did you check that you can login to the db server by using the credentials stored in the dbconfig.xml  file)

Did you verify that dbconfig.xml  contains the correct parameters.

Did you check if the db server is reachable from the host that jira is running at?

Did you also check the db server log?
