Closing Free Account + Data Data Backup or Loss?

Hello, Atlassian Community!

I am using the service here for a fee and I would like to know if I can back up the data and how to do it? I would also like to know if all the data will be lost when I cancel my service?

Hello there Anita!

Could you clarify if you are referencing Confluence Cloud or Server? You can check differences between the Sidebars in these screenshots:

Confluence Cloud:

Confluence Server

 

Nonetheless, you should be able to create backups in both platforms. For such, you can check our documentation here:

Create a site backup - Confluence Cloud

Site backup and restore - Confluence Server

 

According to our documentation for Confluence Cloud, your data should be available for at least 15 days after cancellation:

Atlassian Cloud - How do I cancel my Atlassian Cloud subscription?

For Confluence Server your data should be available for your reference as long as you do not remove it from your local server.
