We need to integrate a bitbucket server v5.5.11 which is hosted on AWS with Jira Software.
I am looking for a "clear" how to guidance.

It is pretty straight forward, just go to Application Links under Settings, add the URL to your Jira instance and click Create new link and then follow the wizard to get it set up. See Link Bitbucket Server with Jira Software for more details.
