Adding closed source jars to bamboo ondemand instance

I'm using an elastic bamboo configuraiton, but I want to add closed source jars. When I do this, do I need to create a custom AIM?

Jar's of a paid api and custom academic jars that are build for us but not on public servers.

What kinds of closed jars? You can add the using EBS (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Configuring+elastic+instances+to+use+the+EBS)
