We are running Jira Server 7.12.1.
Sometimes the Summary is displayed when searching for a specific key, and sometimes it is not displayed. When it is not displayed, I can still select that issue key, and the correct linkage is made. When the Summary is displayed, it is a very helpful aid to ensure I've selected the correct issue for the linkage.
I have not been able to determine why the Summary does not display. Sometimes, it displays fine for several hours, and then suddenly stops displaying (for the same issue key). When one key stops displaying the Summary, other keys will display the Summary just fine.
If I try searching using the advanced search option, I can find the issue and summary displays just fine, but that is one more step which adds a lot of work when linking many issues.
