Editing an Issue removes the assignee

HI,

When I click Edit on an issue that has an assignee - under some unidentified circumstances (alas) - the assignee field on the Default form is empty and the assignee is set to unassigned on save.

Does anyone have a hint, what the "circumstances" might be. It is not a transitionn just a plain edit.

IMHO this can only be done via a plugin code. For instance if you're using Script Runner, you may have defined a Behaviors in which it clears the assignee field.

Unfortunately I did not find any custom scripting, that refers to Assignees. However I found out, that it only happens, if the issue is assigned to the current user.

I will keep ivestigating.

Hi,

It seems to be connected with the default assignee of the component. But this is jut a guess since it does not occur with all components.
