Confluence Blog Listing - Change Format

Becki M (Bex)

I'm trying to amend the view found for:

• /pages/viewrecentblogposts.action?key=
  • This is the page you view when you click 'Blogs' from the Sidebar

Instead of seeing the whole blog listed I'd prefer to only show a snippet or just the User Logo, Blog Title, Date.

I'm guessing this might be possible in the Stylesheet but I'm not sure how to accomplish what I need.

I'm using an on-prem version of Confluence.

Hello there!

You are right Backi. This can be set under Space Stylesheet! So, you can proceed like this:

1. Access the desired space
2. Click Space Tools
3. Look for Look and Feel
4. Select Stylesheet
5. Click to edit
6. Insert the following CSS code:

   1. .blog-post-listing .wiki-content{
      display: none;
      }

This will hide from view everything that is inside divs with the class blog-post-listing and has the class wiki-content. Without the blog-post-listing part, even normal page content will be hidden.

This hides the blog post snippet and will show only title, author, date and edit button.

Hope this helps. Looking forward to your reply!
