Unable to delete sub-task

I'm unable to delete subtasks in the Jira Kanban board view. It gives an error about needing to be the administrator even though I am the admin.

Any help appreciated!

you may be project admin but not system/jira admin. Check the project settings > permissions for the delete permissions.
