My jira application uses HTTP I need to change it to HTTPS

I currently have a certificate.

I am currently using jira with http and need to enable https for this application.

How is this done?

you can follow this KB article if you want you reverse proxy (recommended - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/integrating-jira-with-nginx-426115340.html) or directly to Java port (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/running-jira-applications-over-ssl-or-https-938847764.html).
