Unable to set target date 50 years from now

In planning my life with Jira Portfolio, I've planned project end-of-life on 1st of April 2069,

But when I committed the changes to Jira, It throws a warning:

I think Jira saves the year and somehow converted 2069 to 1969?

 

Question, how can one plan to ship a life cycle update in 50 years? I really want to plan to start off April right this year.

The world will end in less than 50yrs and Jira knows that.😂
