Confluence craching on startup due to synchrony

Question

I have an instance of confluence (6.15.1) running in a virtual environment. The instance starts up normally 90% of the time but sometimes the application crashes when starting synchrony.The logs look like a normal start up then stop after the line indicating synchrony has started. The server can be started by running the confluence-start.sh script which deletes a stale PID and proceeds normally.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

It was an intermittent issue due to memory.

Do you have some indicators in the logs ?

Usually, it can be out of memory issue.
