ressources assignment/reservation. confluence or JIRA

Question

Any simple way to manage (physical) resources assignment/reservation in confluence ?

A spreadsheet like form handling a list of items and allowing the user to assign and release an item (like a shared lab equipment).

Each item should have a name, a description and a "free/available" or "assigned to/in use by" state.

Can this be done in confluence ?

If not, can JIRA be the answer ?

You'd need some system like Jira or JSM Assets to store your resources and JSM Portal to allow bookings for it. With our app Raley Bookman - Assets Reservation from JSM Portal you can make these 2 work together.

Asset availability is easy to track in Calendar view and the check-in check-out is handled in a JSM request that represents a booking.

Honestly there is no comparison between the two.

I can share links if interested so that you can create you first project. Once you get into JIRA you won't be able to survive without it.
