Deleting a user

1/ If I delete a user from my Bitbucket repository will they receive a notification or email about it?

 

2/ If I change their permissions  will they receive a notification or email about it?

 

3/ Will deleting them have any effect on my repository? I need to lock the user out, but don't want to affect anything stored in the repository by deleting them.

Hi Zane, welcome to the Community!

In response to your questions:

1. They will get a notification email that their access was revoked from the repository.

2. They will also get a notification email that their access to the repo has changed if the permissions change.

3. The repository will not be affected if you remove users, their contributions are already part of the repository and that will not change.
