Jira Service Desk with exchange 2016

Hi,

 

I have managed to configure out going email in the services desk admin section but im unable to set incoming as it keeps stating the error of: 

• ProtocolException: No login methods supported!

This is under the imap setting, i have imported the SSL for the exchange server and i know that imap is enabled in exchange, has anyone else had an issue similar and if so has anyone got a fix?

Hi James,

I recommend taking a closer look at this KB 'javax.mail.MessagingException No login methods supported' due to IMAP over SSL

It provides some different ways to troubleshoot this issue.

If that doesn't help, could you post some more of the stacktrace that generated this error?  Your error message is rather similar to the one in that KB, but it might not be exactly the same and the more details we have about your specific error then the more likely we can troubleshoot this better and update our own KB if it does apply to you here.
