search still reveals a deleted page

Question

Hi, deleted a page this morning in favour of a new page. However, search still reveals the page that was deleted. Also had the page purged. Still shows up in search.

I'm uncertain how to re-index the site, or if I even have the ability to do that.

Hello,

If you are on Confluence Server/Data Center then you can go to cog item -> general configuration -> content indexing and reindex the content.

If you are on Cloud, I would file a ticket at Atlassian support

I am thinking of two options:

* Perhaps, another page in another space has the same name as the page you deleted and this is just a mix-up
* Does the new page have the same name as the old one?

How did you delete the page? Was there an error to delete the page completely?
