How do I deactivethe jira account using a Java program

from china, apologise for my grammar mistakes. how do i "update cwd_user set active = 0 where user_name = '123' "by programming. i tried 'PUT /rest/api/2/user',it dosen't work. online etc.

Thank you reply.but i need a task to update user. i can not shutdown the server and use sql. could you tell me how do i deactive it with the underlying code ..

There is no Rest api method to set a user as inactive

You will need to use SQL in the database or use Groovy to access the Java API.
