Values of a user picker from project role field do not display in the Issue Navigator - JIRA v5.1.1

Question

After upgrading to JIRA v5.1.1 the values of our Developers field (a user picker from project role field) will not display in the Issue Navigator.

We are able to select the field as a column, but no value is ever displayed.

Looks like that plugin is not supported for JIRA 5.1.1.
