How to I permanently revert to the old view in Jira?

How can I permanently turn off the "new" view in Jira? There is a link in the top right which says "See the old view" however it only works for the issue I'm working on. The new view has nothing of value, there are way too many usability issues and it makes simple tasks more complicated. Everyone I work with hates it so I'm hoping we're not the only ones and Atlasssian will listen to our feedback.

Hi Chris,

You can disable the new issue view for now by going to your Profile picture > Personal settings > New Jira issue view for software projects and disable the new view.

Note that it will only disable for classic projects. Business and Next-Gen projects will still show the new issue view.

The new view is irritating. I appreciate what Atlassian is trying to do by allowing us to see different kinds of data about the issue in multiple columns. This is nice to have... but let me choose to do that rather than forcing me to do that. The problem is that I feel like I'm having to chase information in multiple windows unnecessarily. Please allow the users to have what they want rather than changing to something which you only *think* we want. There seems to be a tendency across development communities to dummy everything down by reducing options, and narrowing views. Like what Apple does. Very irritating. I have a mouse and believe it or not I know how to navigate issues. Please don't change the way I've been viewing issues.
