Disable Remaining estimate and Comment on Screen

Question

Hi Folks

Is there a way to disable/hide the Comment and Remaining Estimate on a Transition screen?

I cant figure out a way to disable them from the screen.

Hi @Saad

The comment field is always shown on transitions

The estimate field will be called Time Tracking

Thanks @JA I did exactly that, but these system fields are not even shown as options. Which means I cant delete them...any idea why?

Yes.

* you need to be admin
* go to the workflow that is associated with the issuetype you wish to modify and go into edit view
* double click the transition that you are interested in
* determine the screen that is used during transition
* exit out of the workflow without making changes
* go to screens and find the one noted in step 4
* edit and remove the desired fields
