Hi everyone đź‘‹

I wanted to ask the community if anyone else would find this feature useful.

Wouldn’t it be really convenient to have the ability to pin a comment within a Trello card, so that important information stays visible at the top of the activity feed?

I know that the card description can be used to highlight key information, but very often the most relevant updates or instructions appear in the comments during discussions. When a card has many comments, it becomes difficult to quickly find the important one.

Being able to pin a specific comment would make collaboration much clearer and faster, especially for cards with long activity histories and multiple contributors.

What do you think? Would this feature improve your workflow as well?

Upvote. I've often missed the ability to add extra information somewhere. Especially since in our use case cards are rarely that dynamic: the description is the content and that's fixed, and not really up for 'discussion'.

A place for important side-notes and context would be interesting. Like "About this board" you could have a context field, something below the title but not part of the content.

Custom fields maybe?--but I'm not sure how or if that would work.

My personal take for whom it concerns: I've always felt, if comments are part of the card, they should have stayed visible as a thread at the bottom; and 'Activity' to me is a place where edits, additions, moves, etc.--technical stuff--ought to be. Maybe Atlassian ought to finally invoke some chat feature inside boards so chatter and management stay separated.
