We use Trello to run implementation projects and WE LOVE IT. But there are times we would love to be able to hide certain cards from the board guests we invite from the customer. Maybe they are internal tasks, or Jira cards in spaces they can't see anyway.
Is this ability something Trello has ever considered? I get it could be super complicated, but even just hiding from guests would work for us. We don't care if all the Workspace members could see those types of cards.
Hi @Emily Duensing ,
Interesting request 👀 I believe they/Trello are promoting that shared perspective philosophy:
The philosophy is that if two people look at the same board and see different things, that shared understanding of the project's state is lost...
But I see where you're getting at and that this could be beneficial. Basically, something like 'security levels' in Jira.
I did a quick scan on JAC (official feature request/bug dashboard), but the best thing I could find was this.
All in all, as you're on Enterprise plan, you/your admin could maybe request new suggestion here: Atlassian Support based on your requirement.
Cheers,
Tobi
Thank you @Tomislav Tobijas - I can appreciate the "shared perspective" philosophy, but I also have a real need to hide a few cards from customer visibility, and maintaining multiple boards for each project is simply a big "no"... that is ridiculous.
Thanks for the reply, though... much appreciated! I did submit a suggestion... they can laugh about it at the next Trello product meeting. :)
