How to invite guests to my board on Standard subscription

I have a Standard subscription which states that I can have guests, but when I want to invite people to the board, it only gives me option to invite them as members. And it seems there is a limit to how many members can be on my board. Is the number of members limited under the Standard subscription? 

How do I invite people as single board guests?
