Platform: Safari 26.2 | MacOS 15
Issue: Trello blanks out when coming back to the tab that had been inactive for a while
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a trello board.
2. Use some other website for like 15 minutes.
3. Come back to the trello board.
4. It's just an empty page, you must refresh the browser by selecting the address bar and hitting ENTER. Just clicking on refresh icon won't do.
Hi @Abhaya ,
Welcome to the community!
Thank you for sharing these details and the steps to reproduce the issue. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce this issue.
This behavior might be related to how Safari manages background tabs and memory, especially after extended inactivity. Sometimes, browser tabs are "suspended" to save resources, and when you return, the page may not reload properly—hence why manually hitting ENTER in the address bar works, but the refresh icon doesn’t.
A couple of things you could try:
Make sure your Safari browser is up to date.
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
Disable any browser extensions to see if one might be interfering.
Try using Trello in a different browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) to see if the issue persists.
