I am trying to install jira 7.2.3 in the test server ia m facing issue after connecting the database. and jira home directory is locked. Is it possible to connect Jira after installation.

I can't tell you mch more than that, you've not described what you've done or what docs you've tried to follow. It's also not clear what you mean by "connecting the database" - did you have a running system and changed the db connection? A clean install with errors? etc.
