Hello Everybody

I Am a new entrepreneur with multiple projects on hand. I have enough budget to support my business and the best office equipment and resources. I have designed the best working space with all the amenities and state-of-the-art technology. However, I am currently searching for the best software development tools. No matter how good your business is, you may lose the race if you don't have a website and online presence. Therefore I started with the best software development and design tools. And what caught my attention was Atlassian. The internet and communities were filled with positive reviews and five-star ratings.

I decided to give it a go. Atlassian offers the best tools for software development, design, and collaboration. The user interface is clean and sleek. The features are powerful and easy to use. And most importantly, it is affordable. It is a company that provides software development and project management tools. Their products include Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. However, before taking any final step, I want to be completely sure about it. That's the reason I am on this platform.

What are your thoughts about Atlassian? Have you used their tools before? I have shared some queries about their products. Please look and help me choose the best tools for my business. Thank you!

Hi @symakhan and welcome to the community,

Instead of answer all of your questions, I would suggest that you try the products you think suit you, since Atlassian offer free tier plan, which you can use with up to 10 users.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

On the headline question, they are for doing different things.  Jira is an issue tracker, Jira Align is an Agile-at-scale project management tool (you wouldn't really use it in an organisation with fewer than 500 developers).  Align is often used sitting over the top a Jira Software installation (or, more likely, several), with developers primarily tracking in Jira and then the higher layers above the Epics being handled by Align.

I've been using Atlassian tools since 2003 and watched them go from just an issue tracker to cover most aspects of software development and usage - documentation, source control, even test coverage, ITSM, and and and...

Bet bet is to do a little reading on https://www.atlassian.com - the "products" menu has a lot on it now!
