Statuses in Jira, how to analyze them which can be combined or removed.

Any suggestions/steps how we can combine unused statuses? In order to have solid list of statuses to be used widely and commonly.

Probably I sense you have those statuses for DONE type of Status.

So here, a better way to deal with such would be USAGE OF RESOLUTION field in the issue type closure transition.

The general status would be for DONE state could be:

* Resolved
* Done
* Closed

Per my sharing thought - below should resemble:

* Rejected - Can act as Resolution done than Status
* Close - Should be CLOSED status
* Cancelled -  Can be act as Resolution done than Status
* Acceptance test done -  Can be act as Resolution done than Status OR A status based on project process
* System test done - Can be act as Resolution done than Status OR A status based on project process
* Freezed - In Progress status category than Done status category
* Postponed - In Progress status category than Done status category
* Verified - In-Progress OR To-Do category
* Reopen - To-Do category
* Deployed successfully - Done Status OR To-Do based on project process
* QA passed - In-Progress type category
* Implemented - In-Progress type category prior to Done/resolved type
