Restoring Jira Projects from an old build to a newer build

Question

I am currently trying to restore a back up from Jira on demand to a local instance.  Upon selection of the file (.zip) to restore I am getting the error:

This data appears to be from an older version of JIRA. Please upgrade the data and try again. The current version of JIRA is at build number '6260', but the supplied backup file was for build number '6318'.

Is there a solution to get around this error?  Please

Try to manually edit the entities.xml inside the zip and set the build number there to match
