Hello All,

"Remaining time estimate" is not showing up as an option for Burndown Chart.

Remaining Time Estimate is an option for Burndown Chart. It was available a few weeks ago. Today when i opened Burndown chart i am not able to see the field.

Do i miss any thing or the field is removed from the Jira system.

Thanks,

Mani

Never mind i found the solution.

  1. Click "Board" in the upper right corner
  2. Click "Configure" in the dropdown/context menu
  3. Click on the "Estimation" tab under configuration
  4. Change the Time Tracking  to “Remaining Estimate and Time Spent”.

I do have the "Remaining Estimate Time" in the choice for the Burndown chart. But one of ma collegue (who has acces in the projetc) has not this choice? Why?

Hi mani@123 , thank for sharing the steps to display Remaining Estimate and Time Spent tracking the work and showing this info as part of the Sprint Board. But even with this setting Burndown chart is showing remaining work to be completed for the tickets based on total Original Estimate.  Just want to double check is this setting showing Burndown chart correctly for you based on Remaining Estimate.

Thanks!

  1. Click "Board" in the upper right corner
  2. Click "Configure" in the dropdown/context menu
  3. Click on the "Estimation" tab under configuration
  4. Enable "Time Tracking"

This will enable the dropdown to be available :)
