Jira Suite Utilities "User is in Custom Field" condition

I have a task and it contains "Authors" custom field and i have subtasks of this task. In the workflow i want my subtasks to be assigned to people if this person is in Authors custom field in the main task.

In Jira suite utilities there is a condition in workflows but can it check authors field in main task?

I have tried this in Jira and found out that in order to use that condition custom field must be filled for that issue type.
