Default Dashboard Filter Selection

I have a dashboard with a Rich Filter gadget.

I want to set a default view for the dashboard, with preselected search criteria/filters that will remain the same on each new visit to the dashboard. 

I am aware that there is a way to share a preselected search through the Dashboard Permalink, but is there a way to set a default view on the dashboard itself? 

For example: I'd like to have the filters set to the current sprint and the current user by default whenever someone first pulls up the dashboard.
