Updating transitions using PUT method of the issue

Hi all,

I am working on doing an integration with Jira using the V2 and V3 API's, one of the problems I am facing is that I can not update the current status using the PUT API even though it is documented.

I can see the comment gets added but the transition doesn't change.
If I use the following API it works for transition only

https://cloudenrich.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/issue/{IssueKey}/transitions/

 }

Can someone please help to identify if it is a bug or known behavior?
If it is a bug, please let me know how to file the same?

Hi Rajesh,

For me also when I try to update with comment , can't update. But with only transition id, it's working fine same as like you.

I'm also interested to know how to add the comment and other fields along with transition.
