Learning from the source - How does Atlassian leverage Jira Align?

I'd like to quickly get some insights into how Atlassian makes use of Jira Align internally. Given the companies scale, I'm sure there are very valuable learnings that we can all leverage in our journey to better predictability and project success 🥳

The Jira Align team has been using the Product since the AgileCraft days and we are currently conducting some internal engagements within Atlassian using Jira Align Enterprise Solution Architects similar to how an external customer engagement would operate. We have been getting some great feedback from a ton of smart people as the engagements develop!

I'm a Solution Architect in Atlassian, and we're using Align to plan and track our work on a quarterly and monthly basis. We're not traditional developers -- we work with clients to help them learn how to use Align to meet their specific needs -- but we still need to plan and track our work.

We work as a kanban team, not doing regular sprints, and we plan our customer engagement plus our own internal work (preparing webinars, revising training material, working with our Product Management team). We've connected our work to Align and Atlassian strategic goals so we can show how our work is supporting the enterprise goals in the same way that the teams developing new features for Align connect their work to the strategy.
