this is not a specific question for Atlassian Application. BTW, I know that probably you need to perform that action to upgrade Confluence.

Hi @Ligaz ,

Some best practices when it comes to this would be:

1. Use pre-upgrade planning tool - to run health checks (incl. DB compatibility)
2. Standard procedure, but back up your DB and Confluence home directory before making any changes
3. If possible, test the upgrade in a staging environment first

Official docs for all Confluence versions are here: Confluence Documentation Directory. Although I don't think they've listed PostgreSQL 15.0 as a supported DB.

You could maybe reach out to Atlassian Support for them to confirm and potentially provide some additional insights about this.
