Peertube and Widget Connector

Question

Hi there,

I try to embed a peertube (onsite)  video to our confluence site (data center onsite) with the Widget Conntector.

In my mind, peertube and youtube have similar/equal conditions to be used as an embeded video in a confluence page.

I added the peertube URL to the allowlist as a domain and the check is green for the URL of the video.

But I only see a picture and the domain name:

HTML-App is disabled for security reasons.

Does the Widget Connector need HTML-App features enabled or is peertube not supported / usable by confluence ?

I don't see any errors or hints in logfiles by grepping for peertube ir widget in log directory.

What else do I need to config to use a peertube video as embeded video on a confluence page ?

Have you inspected the page to see what is happening and where your error might be?  If you can embed as HTML I would suggest going that route and see if it works.
