How to integrate the Atlasssian MCP server

I am trying to integrate the confluence which is hosted my my data center or where the url is either docs.companyname.com or confluence.companyname.io with mcp server.

Do I really have any set up config for it? Is it possible to connect mcp server to sites hosted in data centers?

The official Atlassian MCP Server is only supported on cloud. 

Although I have not tried it myself, I have found a community-driven project, sooperset/mcp-atlassian repository on GitHub, which is distinct from Atlassian's own official remote server. Its major advantage is its broad compatibility, supporting both Atlassian Cloud and self-hosted Server/Data Center deployments. You may try it if it meets your requirements.
