Spotlights: Highlight Important Info Beautifully

Hi community,

We are announcing a new element for Premium Confluence users called Spotlight. Spotlights are highly-customizable units with custom image, layouts, and buttons so you can really let your message shine.

Take a look at this demo to see how it works:

To get started:

1. Go to Company Hub or any page and click Edit.

2. Type /spotlight into the editor.

3. Select the Styles option to customize the look and feel of your spotlight with custom height, background fill color, text color, and corner styles. We’ve also added various layout options to choose from. On Company Hub, you will be able to add a custom hex value for background fill color and text color.

4. To edit the actual content within the Spotlight, navigate to Content. You’ll be able to give your Spotlight a custom Title, Description, Image, and Button text and link.

Excited to finally have buttons available, even in this limited form - nice step toward making Confluence more accessible and navigable. Loving the spotlights so far, and I'm sure there's lots of plans to grow the functionality and customisation in the coming months. Being able to adjust the height (especially if you remove the image) would be great.
