How to see Pipeline destination while running

Question

Hi sorry if I'm lacking details here.
But when I run a pipeline on bitbucket . org , (say to a test environment or to a production environment) is there a way to double-check that I am deploying to the place I want after I have clicked "Run"?

I see a pipeline number, last commit, branch that is being deployed, and a nice pipeline progress flow-chart. But nowhere does it seem to say destination.
Is there a way to see this, to sanity check myself while I'm watching the build?

Hello @Nathan Hubbard and welcome to the Community!

You could change the step name to match the environment you are deploying to, so you can see the step name when you open the pipeline in the UI and can then ensure the correct environment was selected.

Following is an example YML file :

pipelines:
  default:
    - step:
        name: Staging-1
        deployment: Staging-1
        script:
          - echo "Private image was pulled"
    - step:
        name: Staging-2
        deployment: Staging-2
        script:
          - echo "Private image was pulled"

Which will look like this in the UI :

The deployment environment can be configured under Repository Settings > Deployments.
