I deleted my account in 2022. I have the emails showing the account is deleted. Yesterday, I received 2 emails from Atlassian saying my Loom integration is now available, and another email saying that my organization now has goals available.
I tried deleting again but it says I'm the last billing admin so I can't delete my account.
I can confirm that I and my organization doesn't use Atlassian whatsoever. Since I don't have a paid account, I can't talk to a human (that's what the Ai chatbot says).
It's concerning that I have confirmation emails for deletion from 4 years ago, but yet it seems like everything reactivated. Atlassian should have NO data for me.
How can I delete this??
Hello @Steven Barks
That “last billing admin” message is the giveaway: something under your email is still active somewhere (org/site/subscription state), even if you deleted stuff back in 2022. The emails are likely coming from that.
What I’d do:
Log in and check admin.atlassian.com → see if any org/site still exists under your account.
If you’re the last billing admin, you can’t delete until that role is transferred/cleared. If there’s nobody else, you may need Atlassian to clean it up on the backend.
Since you can’t reach paid support, use the privacy / data removal request route (that’s the right channel for “delete my data / close whatever is left” cases).
In the meantime, hit unsubscribe in the email footer to stop the noise.
Community can’t delete it for you, this one needs Atlassian to remove the last-admin lock if you’re stuck.
Thank you for the help! Where is the data removal request option? I can't seem to locate that either.
