Hi everyone,
At Team 26 in Anaheim, Bitbucket's Head of Product, Chris Clarke, and Edmund Munday, Principal PM for Bitbucket Pipelines, delivered a talk on how we're building Bitbucket for the AI-era. Here is some context on the talk and a link to watch it on demand.

Agent-generated software is the biggest shift in software development in a generation. However, while writing code isn't a bottleneck anymore, developers and platform teams are dealing with a whole new set of challenges.
Review volume is exploding: Reviewers are being asked to approve 1,000s of lines of code generated by agents. Conventional pull request rituals can’t keep up.
Non-coding toil is piling up: Developers are buried in security fixes, doc updates, flaky test triage, feature flag cleanup – work that scales linearly with code volume.
CI/CD is also run by agents: To keep up with the pace, teams are putting agents in charge of pipelines. Guardrails are crucial and need to scale.
Downstream stakeholders are nervous: Security, ops, and compliance teams are increasingly worried about what’s shipping, and want code review, approvals, and audit logs as part of the process.
Watch the talk to learn how Bitbucket is building for to address these challenges across code review and CI/CD.
