Exciting news for all teams using Confluence Cloud: We have just introduced a beta for team based permissions in Confluence! This new feature allows you to manage space and content access using Atlassian Teams, making collaboration and permission management much simpler for people working together.

Thanks for the feedback, Rune! We're building admin controls to enable you to allow all teams or only verified teams for permissions. Admin controls won't be available yet at the start of the Beta, but will be complete before general availability. With them you would be able to ensure that only your trusted teams are used for permissions in Confluence. Keep an eye out for that!
Also, in the case where an abandoned team still holds space-level access, you'll be able to easily remove any space-level access that team holds with the existing bulk add/remove from all spaces functionality. Simply search what spaces the team has access to with User access and bulk remove their access with bulk space removal.
