Rovo Trends General Availability

Hey! My name is Griffin, and I'm a Product Manager here at Atlassian and I’ve been partnering with Rovo customers to better understand their requests for more data around Rovo adoption! We want to give customers like you deeper visibility into how Rovo is being used today, so you can get even more value in the future.

We're excited to announce the General Availability of Rovo Trends, now available for Atlassian customers.

Rovo Trends gives organization admins a centralized view of AI adoption. With Rovo Trends, you can gain a better understanding of how Rovo is being used across your organization, where teams are finding the most value, and identify opportunities to improve adoption of Rovo.

How you can benefit from Rovo Trends

With Rovo Trends, you can:

• Track AI adoption with metrics like AI-enabled users, active users, and Rovo interactions.

• Monitor adoption trends over time with interactive dashboards.

• See which Atlassian apps are driving the most AI engagement.

• Measure Rovo agent adoption with metrics like active agents, agent runs, and agents created.

• Export detailed usage data as a CSV for further analysis.

How do I get started?

To get started today, simply navigate to Atlassian Administration → Rovo → Rovo Trends. Learn more in our documentation.

We've been using this and it is a welcome addition. The org level adoption view is genuinely useful. One gap worth raising: as Rovo answers get surfaced ahead of search results, our content level usage metrics are quietly breaking. Page views have been one of our most valuable signals for knowledge management, and now that users are getting their answer from the generated summary, they never land on the page. The view count flatlines, and the page looks abandoned even though it was a context source for Rovo. That's a real challenge as we use page view trends to track engagement, drive review cycles, and archival decisions.  We now risk of retiring content that looks unused when it isn't because Rovo is doing its job well.

What we'd need is something in Page Insights and Content Analytics along the lines of "cited as a source in N Rovo answers".  Without that, Rovo Insights tells us how much people are using AI, but not which context source power that engagement. Is that on the roadmap?

I hope next up are some insights for each individual users: How many credits did my request just use? How many credits have I used this month?

And then some admin controls related to that: set a max. credit limit per user (group).
