Why validation on linked issues are not working for Issues link type?

Hi,
I was trying select Issues link type of "is caused by" and checked Unselected issue link types are not allowed. And getting error message that have created by I.
Actually I was able to validate issue types, statuses as well as resolutions but not issue link type.
Is there any thing am I missing?
